i had in mind a composition quite similar to this (albeit with colbert on our left), then discovered, while searching for photo references, that rolling stone magazine had beaten me to it. so i just copied theirs.

well, thank you very much. it's always gratifying to hear compliments on my work from people who, as far as i'm aware, i don't even know. doesn't happen a lot.
